This is a great opportunity for beginners and advanced students alike. It is also an opportunity to work on “problem” behaviors. ALL DOGS are welcome to attend the Group Classes. Come train with acclaimed trainer, Steve Kotowske. Steve owns What’s Up Dog? in the Florida Panhandle. He has been on the advisory board for 2 different Service Dog training organizations - in the US and Canada. He is the director of his own Service Dog organization, while maintaining his role as the senior trainer at What’s Up Dog?. He has instructed 1000’s of dog owners in best practices for training their unique dog. Understanding there is not a one-size-fits-all method, Steve works to understand the dog/human team and instruct how to build a proper relationship based on respect. This leads to better obedience, higher functioning dogs and more confident handlers. Steve has experienced success in both showing and breeding German Shepherd Dogs, Dutch Shepherds. His experience in training law enforcement K9’s, and consulting K9 teams adds a layer of knowledge that many pet trainers do not possess. His philosophy of training is quite simple - to teach you proper communication and leadership skills that, when followed, create a proper relationship between you and your dog.
You can attend the Group Classes AND reserve a Private Training Session. Private Sessions are limited to 3/day so if you would like to have the opportunity to work one on one, take advantage and get signed up for private training between class sessions.
Our Kick-Off Session is a classroom style teaching seminar - this will be a fun, informative look into WHO your dog is, WHY your dog behaves the way it does, and WHAT you must do to have a well-behaved dog that is based on Psychology, Science, and Common Sense. Bring a notebook and a pen - just don’t bring your dog or your kids. (Meghan is working on a sitter, as always)
